Role Summary

We are actively seeking an experienced Product Owner to work on one of our flagship transfer products - Almond Enterprise Portal. The front-end portal serves two important sets of stakeholders: An external, client-facing portal that provides critical details of settlement and transactions in real-time. And an internal-facing back-office admin portal that holds key configurations, transactional and settlement insights and several other treasury related tools like rate setting, corridor enablement etc.

The ideal candidate has a strong UI, functional and technical background in FX, treasury, web3, cross-border transfer / settlements following and establishing agile product development processing with a deep understanding of FX, treasury and cross-border in general. Tech stack is primarily ReactJS and ChakraUI based with a focus on desktop-based web applications.

Responsibilities

• Client-facing Interactions and Prototyping
  
  • Drive the voice of the customer initiatives alongside Customer Success and Partnership Development team in collecting, consolidating and developing features based on client needs etc.
  • Ability to draw-up prototypes on Miro / Figma / Mermaid and other tools to quickly ideate with partners and confirm requirements before moving through PLC.
• Front-End Product Ownership
  
  • Oversee the development and optimization of the Almond Enterprise Portal, managing both the backoffice administration system and client portal interfaces
  • Define user experience requirements for internal operations teams, ensuring workflow efficiency and comprehensive functionality for transaction monitoring, compliance management, and operational oversight. 
  • Lead the design and implementation of client-facing features that enhance user engagement and provide transparent access to financial services.
• Back-end System Management
  
  • Drive the development of internal ledger to enhance internal and external reporting. These (data dictionary) are key inputs to creating unified views showing  e2e money movement flows between source and destination members
  • Support the development and provide inputs on the transfer product (microservices, processors and data structures) since the AEP is a container of all relevant internal and external APIs

Requirements

• Technical and Industry Expertise
  
  • Demonstrated experience in a FinTech startup or SME and/or centralized exchange (CEX) with deep understanding of Web3 technologies including blockchain protocols, smart contracts, and fiat based finance ecosystems
  • Proven expertise in traditional financial services, particularly foreign exchange markets, cross-border payments, treasury management, and settlement processes
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks affecting financial technology products, including compliance requirements for international money transfers, anti-money laundering (AML) protocols, and know-your-customer (KYC) procedures
• Product Management Experience
  
  • Minimum of 5 years of product management experience in fintech or financial services, with demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-faceted product portfolios
  • Proven track record of leading end-to-end front-end product development cycles from conception through launch and optimization. Experience with agile development methodologies and product management tools including Clickup, Figma, Miro, and similar platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage product backlogs, write detailed product requirements documents, and coordinate cross-functional development teams
  • Experience with AI-enabled product management tools is a plus.

Salary Range:

Total compensation up to USD$ 100,000 ~ 120,000/ year (TBD based on experience)
