Role Summary
We are seeking an accomplished Network Partnerships Lead to define and deliver our global network strategy—linking product innovation and operational excellence with a robust, high-performing partner ecosystem. This role will be central to shaping how funds move across our network, ensuring every money movement transaction is seamless, secure, and scalable across multiple markets, while delivering a great experience for our clients.
You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of our most critical network partnerships, including Payout Networks, Crypto Exchanges, and FBOs. Balancing strategic foresight with operational rigor, you will drive sourcing, solutioning, integration, and performance management in close collaboration with client services, product, legal, compliance, and sales.
Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
- Lead the definition and lead the global network partnerships strategy, aligned to product vision, regulatory realities, and commercial objectives.
- [Future] Lead and inspire a high-performing, distributed partnerships team, setting a clear mission, driving accountability, and investing in long-term professional development.
- Serve as the internal voice providing insight on partner performance, market opportunities, and innovation trends that shape strategic direction.
2. Partnership Development & Growth
- Build, deepen, and optimize relationships with Payout Networks, Crypto Exchanges, and FBOs in close collaboration with internal client services, product, legal, compliance, and sales teams.
- Negotiate and execute commercial agreements, integration plans, and joint go-to-market plans that deliver on our strategy and related growth targets.
- Align the partnership portfolio with sales prospects, clients, and product roadmaps to unlock new capabilities, enhance resilience, and reinforce competitive advantage.
- Identify and evaluate market opportunities, aligning partnerships to unlock new revenue streams, expand geographic coverage, bolster redundancy, and enhance client experience.
- Act as a change agent and advocate for innovation, ensuring the partner ecosystem evolves with client needs and market shifts.
3. Operational Excellence & Governance
- Oversee onboarding, due diligence, and integration workflows to ensure seamless partner enablement and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Establish and manage KPIs, OKRs, and scorecarding frameworks to drive cost efficiency, scalability, and SLA adherence.
- Lead quarterly business reviews and governance processes, ensuring transparency, continuous improvement, and commercial optimization.
- Serve as the escalation point for critical partner issues, resolving challenges in alignment with business priorities and client/partner commitments.
Requirements
1. Strategic Leadership
- Proven track record developing network partnership strategies in fintech, crypto/blockchain, payments, or financial services.
- Superior communication skills with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and external partners.

- Demonstrated ability to synthesize market, regulatory, and product insights into actionable strategies.
2. Partnership Development & Growth
- Robust industry knowledge and relationships across Payout Networks, Crypto Exchanges, and FBOs (licensing partners).
- Experience collaborating internally with legal and compliance to structure, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements and strategic alliances.
- Proven success helping to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and product adoption through partnership channels.
- Strong grasp of competitive dynamics and emerging trends in payments, crypto/blockchain, fintech infrastructure, and financial networks.
3. Operational Excellence & Governance
- Hands-on experience managing and executing partner research, sourcing, onboarding, integration, and governance.
- Proficiency in establishing and tracking KPIs, OKRs, and performance scorecards for vendors and partners.
- Skilled in managing SLA adherence, issue resolution, and continuous optimization of partner performance.
- Ability to align operational execution with long-term commercial and product objectives.
- 7-10+ years of relevant experience in the payments / cross-border money movement industry.
Compensation Range
Base Salary: 72,000-100,000 GBP per year (offered salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and commensurate experience)
Bonus: Discretionary (dependant on company and personal performance)
Equity: Stock Options (equity grant will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and commensurate experience)
